Through support, information, and sensibilization, our organization works toward one clear mission: to improve the quality of life for people with brain injuries and for everyone who stands by them.<\/p>\n<p>Simultaneously, the Hersenletsel Liga is strongly committed to prevention.<\/p>\n<p>Brain injuries that can be avoided must be avoided at all costs. Through targeted campaigns related to cycle helmets, our organization aims to increase awareness and contribute to greater safety when riding a bike, e-bike or step.<\/p>\n<p>The figures speak for themselves: 1 in 2 seriously injured traffic victims admitted to emergency rooms is a cyclist, and 42% of them suffer head injuries. A cycle helmet reduces the chance of serious head injury by more than 60%. The risk of fatal brain injury even decreases by 70%. A small gesture can therefore make a big difference: for every age, for every bike, for every distance \u2014 always wear a helmet.<\/p>\n<p>With HelmHeroes, this mission is given a special expression.
